To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether British National (Overseas) visa holders will be eligible for Government cost of living support in winter 2022.

Eligibility for the one-off Cost of Living Payments to support the most vulnerable households is based solely on entitlement to a qualifying benefit (e.g. means-tested or disability benefit) in respect of the qualifying period.

Support for energy costs through the Energy Price Guarantee and the £400 Energy Bills Support Scheme will be applied automatically to UK household energy bills.
