Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what the (a) number and (b) value of re-capitalisations carried out by the Commonwealth Development Corporation was since the establishment of that Corporation.

The Government has equity invested in CDC totalling £1.5 billion. Since its establishment as a public limited company in 1999, CDC plc has received only one new capital injection worth £735 million in 2015.
