Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Transport on Northern Powerhouse Rail.

As stated in the Autumn Budget, this government is committed to securing delivery of the Transpennine Route Upgrade and maintaining momentum on Northern Powerhouse Rail by progressing planning and design work to support future delivery, with further details to be set out in due course.
