Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answers of 17 November 2016 to Question 52097 and 22 November 2016 to Question 53632, on higher education: finance, what assessment she has made of the effect of proposed changes to the student and work route of entry on fee income estimates.
There will continue to be no limit on the number of genuine international students who can come to the UK to study. We are considering what more we can do to strengthen the system to support the best universities — and those that stick to the rules — to attract the best talent.
