The Government car fleet does include vehicles manufactured in the UK, such as the Jaguar XJ. However, public sector procurers are required to seek value for money through fair and open competition and in line with our current international obligations.

The current public procurement rules will continue to apply until the UK has left the EU following the successful conclusion of exit negotiations.

The longer-term options for our procurement regulations are being considered carefully.
