Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, to which (a) projects and (b) other measures the spending in 2017-18 and 2018-19 listed in table 2.1, line 30, of the Autumn Statement 2016 refers.

Line 30 of Table 2.1 refers to downward adjustments to the Official Development Assistance (ODA) budget, which were made to maintain spend at 0.7% of Gross National Income. The precise allocation of savings will be finalised in due course, and where possible, will be achieved through efficiencies and through stopping or scaling down the lowest value spend in budgets.
