Armed Forces: Cadets

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 25 May 2016 to Question 37401, if he will make arrangements to visit Cadet detachments in Northern Ireland.

As Minister with responsibility for Cadets, I commend the good work Cadet forces do in Northern Ireland and welcome invitations to visit its Cadet establishments. I have no immediate plans to visit Cadet detachments in Northern Ireland but I would be very happy to consider such visits in the near future.
