Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will issue revised guidance on compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 to trusts and foundation trusts following the report of July 2017 by the Information Commissioner on the Royal Free Hospital.

We are working closely with colleagues in the National Health Service and regulators to clarify the regulatory framework, and provide examples of good practice to trusts, foundation trusts and companies. This will be published in the autumn.
