Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, when he last discussed delays in the processing of visas for UK citizens with the US Ambassador to the UK.
This question was answered on 13th July 2015
I asked our officials to raise this question with the US Embassy and they were informed of global delays to the US visa system in June which impacted visa processing worldwide. I understand that this has now been resolved.
