The Scottish Government's own figures show that Scotland's sale of goods and services to the rest of the UK for the year 2019 had a value of £52.0 billion. This means that around 60 per cent of the total Scottish exports of over £87 billion are destined for Scotland's largest market, the rest of the UK. In 2019, the value of Scotland’s exports to the rest of the UK was approximately three times larger than the £16.4 billion sold to the EU, and also nearly three times greater than sales to international destinations that are non-EU of £18.7 billion.
