Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what support his Department is providing to anti-Assad forces in and around Idlib.

Defence has provided support to Syrian Opposition Forces, both through support with equipment to save lives and political support. We have delivered over £4 million of life-saving equipment including communications, medical and logistics equipment. We have provided equipment to protect against chemical weapons attacks - including 5,000 escape hoods, nerve agent pre-treatment tablets and chemical weapon detector papers.
