The Home Office and our accommodation providers take the welfare of staff and service users extremely seriously and are in regular discussion about ways to improve the service provided. The introduction of body-worn cameras for welfare officers by G4S was undertaken in accordance with the contract and both the Home Office and G4s will continue to monitor their use to ensure that the best wellbeing of staff and service users continue to be appropriately safeguarded.
