Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions she has had with stakeholders since the publication of the Women’s Health Strategy on the pregnancy loss certificate; and if she will make a statement.

The Department is working with NHS Business Services Authority to introduce pregnancy loss certificates as soon as possible. The certificates were informed by engagement with stakeholders, including baby loss charities, parents with lived experience of pregnancy loss, registrars and clinicians.
