Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will take steps with medical professionals to make an assessment on the safety of mirtazapine for use during the perinatal period.
This question was answered on 2nd November 2022
There are no current plans to make an assessment. Information on the safety of mirtazapine during pregnancy and while breast feeding is provided in the product information supplied with each pack of medicine.
