Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the cost to local authorities of adopting the metro mayor model.

If any bespoke devolution deal, which an area agrees with Government, includes, because the area has so chosen, a metro mayor, the costs and benefits of that deal will be part of the conversations the Government and the area will have.
