To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many early-learning and childcare settings Ofsted has inspected in each of the last five years, by type of setting.

Ofsted is the non-ministerial Government Department responsible for the regulation of childcare providers and publishes a regular series of statistics relating to inspection of early years provision on its website, including those specifically requested in this question.
