Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many personnel he expects to be routinely allocated to a maritime task group centred on a Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier as described in paragraph 4.40 in the 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review, Cm 9161.
This question was answered on 2nd February 2017
A Maritime Task Group will be tailored to meet the required task. The precise number and mix of vessels, and therefore the number of personnel, would depend on the operational circumstances at the time.
