Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many of the current vacancies in his Department were previously filled by staff who took voluntary exits in 2016-17.

Current vacancies in the Department are a result of staff turnover and capability gaps within the new organisational structure. Roles that are currently vacant did not exist before the DH2020 programme and so were not filled by staff who left on voluntary exit.
