The UK has demonstrated time and again its abilities in hosting major sporting events and the department is committed to maintaining the nation’s reputation for world-class event delivery. We are aware there are cities interested in hosting the Commonwealth Games and officials have been in discussions to establish the financial and technical feasibility of bringing the Games back to the UK in the future.
