Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many service personnel were discharged after failing a Compulsory Drugs Test in (a) 2023, (b) 2024 and (c) 2025 for which the latest data is available.

The requested information is provided in the table below. Please note that these figures are provided for internal use and not assured to the same level as official Defence Statistics.

*Latest figures for Royal Navy up to June 2025.

**Latest figures for the British Army up to June 2025. Note that Army figures include those that tested in the previous year but were discharged in the following year.

***Royal Air Force figures are up to and including 26 June 2025.
