Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, which UK-based charities have received funding from her Department in the last three financial years; how much has been received by each charity; which of those charities recognise trades unions; and what requirement her Department has that charities that receive funding recognise trades unions.

In the last three financial years, more than 125 UK-based charities have received funding through central civil society funding mechanisms. Information on this funding is available through Development Tracker (https://devtracker.dfid.gov.uk/). We do not have hold information on which of these recognise trade unions. DFID does not have any requirement that charities that receive funding recognise trade unions.
