Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 24 October 2019 to Question 2741 on Ystradffin Farm, what topographical considerations led to that location being chosen for a lattice mast.

Initial discussions, followed by negotiations, for the ESN site at Ystradffin started in February 2018. The proposed annual leasing costs for the site are commercially sensitive and cannot be disclosed.
