To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 21 October 2021 to Question 56659 on State Retirement Pensions, what management information her Department holds on the timeliness of the payment of new State Pension claims; and if she will make a statement.

Yes. As of 4 November, there were 3,220 claims where we awaited further information from the customer before we can finalise their claim.
