The cost to the public purse for replacing prison windows for the following financial years is:

2019/20 - £525,000

2020/21 - £1,338,000

Information for years prior to 2019/20 can only be provided at disproportionate cost because projects were commissioned within each local prison maintenance team and details were not held centrally.
