Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what the total value is of public land transferred to free schools since the establishment of such schools.

Land acquired for free schools, including sites transferred from other public use, remains in public ownership. Free schools are delivering good quality places in areas where these are needed.
