Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many deaths in prisons occurred which have been attributed to the use of novel psychoactive substances in each year since 2010.

The Government publishes quarterly statistics on deaths in custody, including their apparent causes. Those and the latest annual figures can be viewed on gov.uk.
Figures on the number of deaths caused by the use of psychoactive substances are not held centrally.
