Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many activity spaces per prisoner there were in (a) adult male, (b) adult female and (c) youth female prisons on 1 March (i) 2013, (ii) 2014, (iii) 2015 and (iv) 2016 in (A) the prison estate and (B) each prison.

Central records are not currently kept for prisoner activity spaces in a manner that would enable the question to be fully answered without incurring disproportionate cost.
