Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many UK flagged fishing vessels were inspected at sea by UK authorities in (a) 2015, (b) 2016, (c) 2017, (d) 2018 and (e) 2019.

Fisheries control and enforcement is a devolved matter. The information provided relates to inspections carried out by the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) only and does not include statistics from either the devolved administrations, or the Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities.
