I met with my hon. Friend the Minister of State, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (Nick Boles) on 30 June to discuss enforcement of the minimum wage in the care sector.

The Government is taking action to improve compliance with the National Minimum Wage in the social care sector. We are working closely with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

HMRC review all worker complaints and continue to include the social care sector as part of their ongoing targeted enforcement.
