Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, whether he plans to bring forward legislative proposals to amend section 41 of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 to limit the cross-examination of rape victims about their sexual history.
This question was answered on 11th September 2017
The Attorney General and the previous Justice Secretary committed to look at how section 41 is operating in practice. MoJ keep all areas of criminal justice procedure under ongoing review.
