Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, how much funding her Department has provided to (a) Turkey, (b) Lebanon, (c) Jordan and (d) to assist with the effect of the refugee situation in Syria in those countries in each year since 2014-15.
Between April 2014 and December 2016 DFID spent over £596 million on projects in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. All of DFID’s bilateral funding to these countries is to assist with the effects of the refugee situation. A breakdown of this funding by country and financial year is provided below.
