Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many and what proportion of covid-19 home tests have not been returned by post (a) within seven days of being dispatched to a person’s home and (b) in total.
This question was answered on 7th September 2020
We are currently setting up a digital solution to capture all home tests which are not returned by post within seven days. On 10 August 2020, 62% of home test kits had been returned.
Turnaround times for tests conducted under Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 are published weekly on GOV.uk as part of the Weekly NHS Test and Trace Bulletin.
