The Government is committed to negotiating a deep and special partnership with the European Union and is conducting a wide-ranging programme of analysis, including analysis of groups and sectors, to ensure the best deal for the entire United Kingdom. All the protections covered in the Equality Acts of 2006 and 2010 will continue to apply once the UK has left the European Union. The UK is already well placed to continue championing equality, thanks in part to the legal protection assured by the Equality Acts.
