The objective of our Industrial Strategy is to improve living standards and economic growth across the whole country. Unquestionably, we want this growth to be sustainable. As we made clear in the Industrial Strategy Green Paper, increasing the sustainability of our economy is not just a necessity, but an opportunity. Britain is well-placed to benefit from the transition to a low-carbon economy, and the Government is committed to working with businesses to make the most of that opportunity.
