To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps her Department is taking to increase the speed of processing limited leave to remain visa extension applications.

We are committed to ensuring our operational teams have the resources they need to run an efficient and effective system, and we actively monitor workflows to ensure sufficient resources are in place to meet demand. The Home Office is currently re-allocating resources following the conclusion of the seasonal student visa application surge, with the aim of ensuring all routes are processed in a timely fashion.
