We are working across Government and with external partners to identify who is most vulnerable to the impacts of increased cost of living, and what action can be taken to support them.

In addition, the Government announced a £37 billion package of cost of living support to help households and businesses, including a £15 billion targeted package of direct support for the most vulnerable households. We are also investing £12 billion in Help to Heat schemes to help make people’s homes warmer and less costly to heat, this includes £1.1 billion to the Home Upgrade Grant until 2025, of which £500 million has already been granted to local authorities as part of the Sustainable Warmth Competition to provide energy-efficiency upgrades to lower-income, energy inefficient homes.
