Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many prison staff were assaulted during the month of October 2022.

Data on assaults on prison staff are published quarterly in the ‘Safety in Custody’ statistical bulletin, available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/safety-in-custody-statistics. The data for October 2022 are scheduled for publication on 27 April 2023.
