The United Kingdom has purchased more than 150,000 vaccine doses during the monkeypox outbreak. We are prioritising vaccine stock where possible for second doses for those at highest risk to maximise protection and interrupt transmission. Regular surveillance and stakeholder engagement continues to ensure we are prepared in the event of any increase in cases.
