Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what the budget is for (a) media advertising, (b) marketing and (c) communications for the consultation on Digital ID; which creative agencies have been selected; and which types of media have been commissioned.

The media spend from March 2026 to May 2026 on the Digital ID consultation is £1,578,482. A breakdown of spend through the Government Communication Service’s central campaigns budget is as follows:

  • Digital Audio: 167,360

  • Digital Display: 367,351

  • Out of Home: 247,263

  • Radio: 245,309

  • Video: 128,229

  • Search: 354

  • Social: 422,616

The creative agencies that supported this campaign were TAG and Accenture.
