Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 4 July 2025 to Question 63017 on Housing Estates: Unadopted Roads, whether the public will be able to contribute to the consultation into new consumer protection provisions for residential freeholders.

As per the Written Ministerial Statement I made on 21 November 2024 (HCWS244), we will consult this year on implementing the LFRA consumer protection measures, and bring these into force as quickly as possible thereafter.
