Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what steps he has taken to establish more renewable sources of UK energy since 1 January 2022.

On 7 July 2022, the Government published the results of the fourth allocation round of the Contracts for Difference (CfD) renewable energy scheme. It delivered almost 11GW of new renewable projects, almost double what achieved in the previous round.
