Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what meetings (a) he has and (b) officials in his Department have had with relevant stakeholders on the reopening of the new Fleet Solid Support ships tender in the last three months.

Ministers and officials regularly meet defence industry representatives from the maritime sector to discuss a range of subjects. Industry has participated in a Market Engagement exercise, but it is too early to say which industrial entities will participate in the new Fleet Solid Support ship competition that commenced on 21 May 2021.
