Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of whether Watchkeeper remains an effective capability for the Army Air Corps.

Full assessments were made of all capabilities retained under the Integrated Review, including Watchkeeper, and on this basis, it was determined that Watchkeeper would be retained as an Army Capability.

Watchkeeper is operated by the 47th Regiment Royal Artillery - the Army's Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (TUAS) Regiment.
