Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what work the Government is doing to tackle discrimination against the Gypsy and Traveller communities.
The Equality Act 2010 protects all individuals, including Gypsies and Travellers, against racial and other forms of discrimination. The Department will continue to work with colleagues across government to deliver the conditions for everyone to live and work successfully alongside each other, creating a more integrated community.
