Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether his Department is taking steps to put employment protections in place for immunocompromised people shielding from covid-19.

This is not a matter for the Department for Work and Pensions.

As the Department for Business and Trade (formerly Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) confirmed in its response to PQ 72575, there are a range of existing legal protections which can be engaged where an individual has an underlying health condition.
