Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many physical visits were carried out to monitor adherence to quarantine rules by arrivals into the UK in (a) July and (b) August 2020.

Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) data relating to the Covid-19 enforcement notices issued in England under the International Travel Regulations is provided monthly by National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) to the Home Office. The data provides an analysis of the rationale for issuing a FPN and a breakdown of issuance by Police Force. The physical visits carried out is an operational matter for the police and data on these is not held by the Home Office'
