The UK is closely following the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). As a signatory of the General Framework Agreement for Peace (GFAP), which ended the conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the 1990s, and a member of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC), the UK is fully committed to upholding the GFAP and the international architecture it created. This includes the Office of the High Representative (OHR), and the EU's stabilisation force (EUFOR), which have helped maintain peace and stability in BiH for the last 26 years. The Foreign Secretary met BiH Foreign Minister Turkovic at the OSCE Ministerial meeting on 2 December, as well as the High Representative Christian Schmidt.
