Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the minutes of the Joint Committee on Immunisation and Vaccinations (JCVI) meeting on 22 June 2021, what assessment his Department has made of the resource implications for the NHS of an additional childhood immunisation visit at 18 months.

No assessment has been made. Should the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation make a recommendation to add a childhood immunisation visit at 18 months, the Department and the UK Health Security Agency will work with NHS England and NHS Improvement to understand the operational and resource implications.
