The Department does not hold the requested data on pre-planned cancellations by the train operating companies.

Rail operators are responsible for mitigating the effects of disruptive events, and for ensuring they are able to provide services within existing operational constraints. In some cases, operators may cancel services, or implement temporarily revised train timetables, to provide passengers with certainty so they can plan their journeys confidently.
