Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how much his Department has paid under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme since 2005; how many payments from that fund have been of £570,000; and if he will make a statement.

Since 2005, some £521 million has been paid under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme; 80 lump sum payments have been of £570,000.
